To predict the problems with excessive thinning of the lateral and wrinkling of the medial in products of tube hydrofomring process effectively, the finite element analysis on tube hydroforming process are performed for automobile subframe forming by JSTAMP/NV, and the simulation results of the each process were obtained. The application of reverse solver Hystamp only specify tube size parameters, materials and bending process parameters can be performed automatically bend simulation and can obtain the bending simulation results within a few seconds; application of LS-DYNA implementation of pre-forming and hydroforming processes simulation calculations need to set hydraulic shaping process parameters,including hydraulic loading curve and the direction and axial feed displacement.JSTAMP/NV can effectively simulate the tube hydroforming process and can predict defects such as buckling, wrinkling and crack in the deformation zone for forming processes, which can provide guidance for process testing.
