This paper first discusses the purpose, significance, logistics location principle, main effect factors. Then discussed the gravity model and its limitations. Finally, taking Zhumadian as an example to illustrate the various counties of center of gravity method in location of logistics application. Using the iterative method of barycentre calculation is accurate, but in real life may not exist. Theretore, gravity method anti other methods of site selection are combined in the actual operation, to play a greater role in.
