从学科发展和稿源范围分析了《昆虫天敌》更名《环境昆虫学报》的原因，并指出科技期刊更名对期刊的知名度、发行量、稿源、影响因子及传播等带来影响。并以《环境昆虫学报》为例说明，明确办刊方针、调整充实编委队伍，提高编辑人员的专业素质、打造精品栏目、提高期刊质量及进行网络化建设是保持与提升期刊影响力的重要措施。

The reasons of Natural Enemies of Insects change into Journal of Environmental Entomology are analyzed from two aspects including subject development and subject range of contribution resource. And pointed out that altering names of sci-tech periodicals will bring about some effects to popularity, contributions, circulation amount, impact factor, and spread the impact ,etc. The example of Journal of Environmental Entomology shows that some countermeasures, such as orientating policy of running periodical, constructing editorial board of high academy level, improving the professional quality of the editorial staff, setting up fine columns, improving the quality of journals and the construction of networks are important measures to further enhance the periodicals influence.
