A newly developed additive and its unique addition method are introduced in a laboratory FCC unit to improve the feedstock conversion and product distribution of FCC process. When the mass concen-tration of the efficient additive components in FCC feedstock reached up to 50 μg · g^-1, the overall con-version of the feedstock increased by 0. 2 -0.41 percentage,while the product distribution also improved with the yield of LPG increased 0.35 percent, light creased 0.37-0. 54 percentages. oil increased 0.34 - 0.90 percentages, and coke de-creased 0. 37 -0. 54 percentages.
