As an engineering specialty, students in polymer materials and engineering subject were required to study the theory and cultivate the project practice ability. But now method of lecture was still used as the main method of teach- ing, which showed a marked lack in the cultivation of the students" comprehensive quality and innovative ability. There- fore, it was very important to offer the small - class seminars in polymer teaching in order to improve students'comprehen- sive practice ability.
