The simulation model of the QAM communication system is built by using Matlab's Simulink toolbox.The simulation parameters are described in detail and some simulation results are analysized.It is indicated that the simulation results are identical to theoretical results. Moreover, the simulation model is very simple and achieves the anticipant result. The simulating of digital communications system based on Matlab has provided an efficient simulation platform to design a QAM system practically and scientifically.
