This paper advocates integrating the substation video monitoring system with perimeter alarm system,fire fighting system and access control system through full deployment and inter-linkage,adopting broadband instead of 2M fiber to increase the bandwidth of transmission channel by a wide margin and solve the bottleneck owing to the narrow bandwidth,and the anti-interference measures of video signals and digital signal in transmission.The substation video monitoring system functions more perfectly,runs more stably and reliably,and achieves the real meaning of unattended by the reform above.
