This review summarized that the applications of polysilazanes as ceramic precursors in the preparation of ceramic matrix composites, hyperthermal material, bulk ceramics, catalyst, multi-pore materi-als, lithium anode batteries , filler, braking system of high-speed train and airplane .The progress on the ap-plications of polysilazanes as ceramic precursors of the adhesion of ceramic , ink-jet printing , the multilayered connection technology of the computer chip , the antioxidant of silicone oil and silicone rubber , curing agents on silicon resin and films for gas separation was reviewed as well .The future research trend was also dis-cussed .
