Based on the geotechnical investigation of the Xiluodu-Zhexi ±800kV UHVDC transmission line,the main geotechnique problems in karst region were analyzed , the key points and emphasis of the geotechnical investigation in karst region were discussed ,and the geotechnical investigation experience in karst region were preliminary summarized .
