某特种车辆输入齿轮材料为38CrSi钢,行驶过程中在减重孔处发生断裂。在对输入齿轮进行痕迹分析、断口宏微观观察、组织和性能检查等试验的基础上,对齿轮减重孔的断裂性质及断裂原因进行了分析。试验结果表明:齿轮减重孔断裂起源于孔侧面,断口以韧窝形貌为主,断裂性质为过载断裂。分析表明:未进行调质处理导致材料的硬度与强度不足是齿轮减重孔处发生断裂故障的主要原因。

A special vehicle input gearwheel was made of 38CrSi steel, fractured at the position of weight loss hole during service. Based on trace analysis, macro and microscopic observation of fracture surface, microstructure inspection and strength measurement, the fracture failure mode and cause of weight loss hole in input gearwheel were investigated. The results show that the main characteristic of the fracture surface is the dimples and the fracture mode is overload fracture. It is concluded that lower hardness and strength due to without quenching tempering are the main case of fracture.
