Faulkner shows his harsh critique to the spiritual corruption of South by the use of multiple first person perspective narrative technique and psychological monologue in As I Lay Dying .The article attempts to interpret the theme of loneliness and al-ienation and living dilemma of human beings in the modern society which Faulkner stays focused on in his Yoknapatawpha novels , by starting with analyzing the narrative perspective of the novel .
