肠道功能障碍已经逐渐被认为是脊髓损伤病人治疗过程中遇到的最主要问题之一。脊髓损伤后的肠道管理是指通过最小程度的物理手段和药物干预，使脊髓损伤病人获得定期和规律的肠道排空，减少相关症状的发生。一个有效的肠道管理能够降低各种肠道并发症的发生率，提高患者的生活质量。本文就脊髓损伤病人的肠道管理研究进展进行综述。

Bowel dysfunction has been one of the major issues in the treatment of patients with spinal cord injury.Bowel management aims at helping patients with spinal cord injury achieve regular and predictable emptying of the bowel ,decrease the incidence of relative symptoms and use minimum necessary physical or pharmacological interventions . An effective bowel management can reduce the incidence of intestinal evacuation and improve pa -tients’ life quality.In this paper,advances in the bowel management in patients with spinal cord injury have been reviewed.
