急诊外科专业包含了创伤及外科危重病的范畴，实际工作中有着不同的运作模式，以普外科模式最为常见。急诊外科的有效运作需要具备经过专业培训的团队和管理制度的保障。经过2年半的临床实践观察，与传统模式比较，急诊外科一体化运作模式对于创伤患者在提高收治效率减少急诊滞留、缩短住院时间、改善预后、降低纠纷隐患等方面可能有一定帮助。但专业的发展还需要应对好学科群发展、人才培养、软硬件建设等诸多问题。

Acute care surgery ( ACS) involves trauma and surgical critical care , which is operated in dif-ferent modes and mainly characterized by “general surgery mode”. An effective operation of acute care surgery mode needs a team with professional training and an appropriate management system .Through the two and half year clinical practice observation ,the ACS mode has advantages of shortening the time cost during the emergency and in -hospital treatment ,reducing complaints and improving the consistency of rescue when compared with the traditional mode .However ,the development of “acute care surgery” subject needs to well solve the problems of common devel-opment of disciplines ,talent cultivation and software and hardware building .
