继季德钼矿北部矿段勘探之后,在其南部又发现了新的矿体--季德钼矿床南部矿段。南部矿段位于吉林省中部大面积分布的晚印支期、燕山期花岗岩区域内。本文介绍了该钼矿普查-详查-勘探的全过程,详细地论述了季德钼矿南部矿段的发现过程及工作方法。总结在已知矿床外围利用地球化学找矿方法发现新矿体以及进行评价的经验,对指导今后同类型矿产的地质找矿具有一定的指导意义。

The Jide molybdenum southern ore block was discovered following exploration of Jide molybdenum deposit northern ore block. The southern ore block is located in the Late Indosinian and Yanshanian granite in central section of Jilin Province. In this paper, the authors introduce the whole process of general survey-detailed survey-exploration, expound the discovery process and working methods of the southern ore block in Jide large molybdenum deposit. Based on the geochemical methods, we summarize the experiences of ifnding new ore bodies and evaluation around the known deposit, which has certain guiding signiifcance for searching and prospecting the similar deposits.
