英汉语中“悲伤”情感的认知均基于人们对该情感的身体体验和对人类身体的认识，同时又受各自文化背景和思维模式的制约，即英汉“悲伤”隐喻具备具身普遍性和文化特异性。从具身认知和体验哲学的角度对二者的认知共性进行阐释，并从理想化认知模式的视角探讨二者差异性的成因可以对英汉语中的“悲伤”隐喻有系统的认知。
英漢語中“悲傷”情感的認知均基于人們對該情感的身體體驗和對人類身體的認識，同時又受各自文化揹景和思維模式的製約，即英漢“悲傷”隱喻具備具身普遍性和文化特異性。從具身認知和體驗哲學的角度對二者的認知共性進行闡釋，併從理想化認知模式的視角探討二者差異性的成因可以對英漢語中的“悲傷”隱喻有繫統的認知。
영한어중“비상”정감적인지균기우인문대해정감적신체체험화대인류신체적인식，동시우수각자문화배경화사유모식적제약，즉영한“비상”은유구비구신보편성화문화특이성。종구신인지화체험철학적각도대이자적인지공성진행천석，병종이상화인지모식적시각탐토이자차이성적성인가이대영한어중적“비상”은유유계통적인지。
Research shows, emotional cognition of sadness between English and Chinese is primarily root-ed in our bodily experience of the emotion and our perception of human bodies, but conditioned by their indi-vidual cultural backgrounds and modes of thinking as well, i. e. English and Chinese metaphors of sadness are characterized by both embodied commonness and cultural idiosyncrasies. And this paper interprets the cognitive commonness of English and Chinese metaphors of sadness from the perspective of embodied cognition and em-bodied philosophy, and explores the cause of the differences between the two from the perspective of idealized cognitive model.
