English teaching is difficult and important in the vocational college education and the English teaching of non-English major students is more difficult.So it is extremely urgent to research students＇ English learning strategy and cultivate their self-study ability.Integrating with teaching practice and students＇ reality,the paper starts from the current learning situation of non-English major students and elaborates ways from four aspects to improve students＇ self-study ability.So students＇ learning initiative is improved and they will be the master of learning.
