Richard Nisbett is a Distinguished University Professor at the University of Michigan.Such vast differences between Eastern and Western thought patterns which were effected by culture,were showed in His book,＂The Geography of Thought＂.Though there were a few weaknesses in this book,It is a well worth reading book which is based upon cultural archeology,as well as modern social science research（including surveys,laboratory research,and so on）,and it was widespread among cognitive scientists with its challenging hypotheses,provoking thought and many fascinating experiments.
