Daxie bridge is a cross - sea bridge under construction in Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province, with sail -shape steel concrete combination main tower, which is as high as 138. 291m with high construction difficulties and few references, as C50 marine concrete being adopted for middle/sub - columns and tie beams, which demands high crack resistance. Both the engineering construction characteristics and the overall construction plan have been introduced, with being focused on the construction of tower columns and tie beams, design of main tower formwork, installation of rigid frame and crack resistance for marine concrete, which could provide experi- ence for similar projects construction.
