高岭土是一种重要的非金属矿产资源，是豫北地区的优势矿产之一。矿体赋存于石炭系中统本溪组中上部，具有较好的成矿条件，层位稳定，厚度较大，具有较大的远景储量。高岭土常含有铁、钛等着色杂质，影响其烧结白度及其他性能，限制了其应用。因此，对高岭土含杂及除铁除杂增白的技术研究尤为重要。通过分析豫北地区高岭土矿资源状况，探讨高岭土矿资源综合利用途径，为豫北地区矿产资源规划及矿业经济可持续发展提供科学依据。

Kaolin, a superior resource in north Henan province , is kind of important non -metallic mineral resource .The ore bodies occur in upper part of Middle Benxi Group in Carboniferous sys-tem with characteristics of good minerogenetic conditions , stable horizon , large thickness and large prospective reserves .Because of the content of colored impurities like iron and titanium , its sinte-ring whiteness is decreased and other properties are greatly affected , which limit its industrial appli-cation.Therefore, the study on analysis of impurities and removal of them for whiteness improve-ment is critical in industry .A comprehensive study has been conducted on kaolin resources in north Henan province to explore new methods for kaolin resource utilization , and provide a scientific basis for mining resources planning and sustainable development of mining economics in this area .
