This paper regards the local linear relationship between the ferromagnetic materials coercivity and carbon content as the research principle, introduces a phase-sensitive detection circuit which applies in electromagnetic nondestructive instrument and analyzes its realization principle. This detection method can better deal with the weak signal and precisely measure the steel carburized layer depth and hardness.
