Due to the GWP value of R134a is as high as 1430, it has been a trend to limit its production and using . As the main purchasers and users of auto air conditioning refrigerant, the automobile manufacturers should start the researching of alternative refrigerants as early as possible, and drive the auto air conditioning manufacturers to develop the new auto air conditioning system which use new refrigerant. This paper introduces the principle of choosing refrigerant in auto air conditioning for automobile manufacturer in detail and provides a reference for the vehicle manufacturers.
