Food-grade hydrogen peroxide of different concentrations of 0.3%~3%was used in a disinfection test for caps of barreled water for different durations of 30s and 60s through the ways of soaking,wiping,etc. The results showed that 100%disinfection effect could be achieved with 0.5%hydrogen peroxide in 30s. Hydrogen peroxide can be used to replace chlorine dioxide.
