The problems occurred in solvent extraction systems were introduced .The possible reasons caused these problems were analyzed and the effective methods for solving these problems were discussed .It point out that the selectivity of extractants and diluents ,constitutes and pH of water phase ,chemical reaction cause emulsification and flocculation ,and entrainment loss of organic phase . The measures for reducing organic phase loss and purifying organic phase are proposed .
