In the information age ,all kinds of ideas and cultural difference influence the value sys-tem of the undergraduates .It is very important to improve the actual effect of ideological and political education for the undergraduates in colleges and universities to establish correct outlook of world ,life and value .At present ,as a new public communication media that the undergraduates use generally , Internet has distinctive characteristics and advantages .It can promote the effectiveness of the ideolog-ical and political education .However ,Internet has both advantages and disadvantages .It not only provides opportunities for colleges and universities to develop ideological and political education ,but also brings about challenges .
