In this paper,It is displayed at Re=8800 that the numerical simulation of a rotating cylinder with spinning discs while the spin rations being at 3.0 and 6.0 with 3-dimensional flow pasting.To draw a comparison with the past documents, it was found from the present simulation which was set according to experiment of Thom ( 1934 ) , that the Thom discs have negative effect on the Flettner rotor.The result of present simulation leads to a contrary conclusion.
