煤矿机电设备是组成矿山企业的重要部分，机电是煤矿生产所用的主要动力源。由于煤矿生产环境十分恶化，作业环境复杂，煤矿机电设备受到各种不安全因素的威胁，很容易出现机械故障，对煤矿正常生产带来阻碍，同时也对煤矿工作人员带来安全威胁，因此，需要对煤矿机电事故的原因进行认真分析，并有针对性的提出预防措施和建议。
