It being difficult to completely solve the water pollution according to the realities of sediment remediation technologies based on the latest techniques, this paper not only outlined the different types of sediment remediation technologies, but also analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of restoration techniques. Solutions to the fundamental problems of water pollution and sediment remediation technology outlook in dealing with water pollution potential applications were proposed.
