景观是人类活动的场所，景观的属性与人类活动密不可分。景观并不是单纯的自然综合体，它具有美学特质与历史特质，往往由于不同的人类活动方式而带有显然不同的文化色彩。今天，城市历史街区的逐渐消失和外来文化的冲击使区域文化日趋缺失。文章论述了景观与文化的内涵及其相互关系，通过分析横滨山下公园景观设计的历史文化特色，提出风景园林设计要将有形的景观和无形的文化通过艺术手法结合起来，体现城市特色。

Landscape is a anthropic place and human activities closely link and affect the properties of it. Possessed of aesthetic and historic properties, landscape is not a simple natural complex, for it reflects various culture according to different patterns of human activities. The disappear of historic districts in the city and the shock of exotic culture lead to the gradual absence of regional culture today. The article discusses the connotations of landscape and culture and the correlation between them. By analyzing the historical and cultural features of landscape design in the Yamashita Park of Yokohama, It also suggests that landscape architecture design combine landscape with culture artistically to embody city features.
