Along the pipeline of China and Myanmar oil and gas pipeline project (Myanmar section), through the middle of mudflats and swamp area on both sides of eight large and med-ium-sized oceanic trenches with no useful access road. On the-se sections of pipeline construction, the special construction methods such as the floating method should be taken. In this article, the author discusses the 5 # trench crossing pipeline ad-opt the orbital method combines with the floating method.
