西安北客站至机场铁路承担西安咸阳机场及沿线与西安市区的旅客交流,机场客流所占比重较高,主要研究直达列车与站站停列车混合开行的可行性。通过对运行时间、运输能力、服务水平和工程投资等因素的分析研究,混合开行对沿线客流服务水平较低,运输能力较小,运输组织复杂,工程投资增加,直达列车运行时间仅节省约7min,确定本线运输组织模式为全部开行站站停列车,初、近期客流较小时可开行部分直达列车。

The railway from Xian north station to airport supports the passenger traffic flows from and along the Xian Xianyang Airport to the city center, in which the proportion of passenger flow from the airport is higher. This paper mainly researched the technical feasibility of a mixed transport mode in which the through trains, as well as the trains which stops at all stations, runs at the same railway line. After analytical study on relevant issues such as the running time, transport capacity, service level, project cost and so on, the paper came to the conclusions that: (a) If using the mixed transport mode, the service level to the passenger flow along this railway line will be lower, accompanied with a smaller transport capacity, complicated transport organization, and an increasing of project cost. (b) If using the through train mode, the running time will be shortened only by 7 minutes. (c) It is recommended to use the mode of train stopping at all stations as the only transport mode in this railway line, and a part of through trains may be employed when the passenger flow is smaller in the initial term and in the near term.
