随着经济社会的飞速发展，社会对人才要求的规格越来越高，人文素养成为学生成才的必备素质。本文通过对建筑类高职学校学生人文素养现状的分析、对学生人文素养缺失的研究以及对学生人文素养培养途径的探索，期望在高职英语教学中对提高人文素养的有效开展提供指导。

With the development of economy, the humanistic quality is the essential quality for students' success. The paper proposes the idea to direct the implementation of humanistic quality improvement in English teaching by analyzing students' humanities status, studying the reasons of their lack of humanistic quality and exploring the ways to improve their humanistic quali-ty.
