The ball bar identification technology for geometry accuracy of the numerical controlled machining center was dis-cussed. The periodic error,perpendicularity error and straightness error of the machining center were analyzed. Causes of the errors were analyzed according to the ball bar measurement diagram,and methods for eliminating the errors were proposed.
