科技创新与竞赛已成为高校优质教育教学环节之一，成为创新型和高素质人才培养的有效途径。基于对近5年参加科技活动小组学生的在校及毕业后工作表现进行调研，探讨了科技创新与竞赛在提高学生综合素质方面发挥的作用，得出的结论是科技创新与竞赛有利于提高学生职业竞争能力、责任意识、创新和实践等能力，是培养高素质人才的有效途径之一。

Scientific and technological innovation and competition have become one of the teaching contents of college quality education ,it is an effective way to cultivate innovative and high-quality talents.This paper surveys on the performance of 40 students that participated in the group of scientific activities at school and at work ,and discussed the effect of scientific and technological innovation and competition on the improvement of the comprehensive quality of university students. The conclusion is that the scientific and technological innovation and competition are an effective way to improve the abilities of competition , responsibility , innovation and practice ,and cultivate high qualified talents .
