USES STC12C5A60S2 microprocessor,current transformer and other devices are adopted to design a mains hid-den cable path detector. The cable detection principle and software & hardware design method of system are introduced in detail. The test results show that the detector can find and identify the electrified cable path hidden in the wall accurately. The cable po-sition measuring error of power load within 2000 W is less than ±5 cm. The detector has the characteristics of high integration, small volume and high reliability,and can be used as the equipment for cable construction and maintenance.
