湖北省高职院校的专业结构在适应区域经济发展方面，形成了基本满足要求的区域布局，专业基本涵盖了湖北省经济和社会发展各领域的一线岗位群，但还存在着专业的层次结构不能适应产业发展需求的诸多问题。问题的原因主要在于招生、办学经费与成本、专业设置管理机制三方面的制约。因此，必须在优化职业教育专业结构、加大投入力度、支持重点紧缺专业发展、提供优惠政策等方面采取相应的对策。

Higher vocational colleges have been adjusting the structure of their curriculum to the need of regional economic development and so far the distribution of curriculums provision among colleges has been achieved to basi- cally meet the need in the region. These curricular have been geared to cover the training of the skills needed for al- a focus on development of most needed curricular. Meanwhile, it recommends that the government should provide preferable policy to support the development of these curricular.
