全球化是当今世界的特征之一,体育也已经不可逆转的在全球化了。基于这一客观事实,从全球化的角度对畲族传统体育的起源、分类进行了分析,提出适合畲族传统体育发展的时代抉择：政府重视,加大投入和宣传;加强畲族传统体育项目的改造;加强传统体育项目赛事的举办;加强畲族传统体育与现代旅游的结合;加强传统体育与学校体育的结合等。
