Problems existing in operation of pressure swing adsorption unit for vinyl chloride rectif- ying tail gas, i.e. product gas entraining white powder after it ran for one year, were introduced. Through conducting experiments, it was found that adding a water absorption tower and adopting -35 ℃ cooling brine could solve the problems completely. After improvements were made, the operation was steady and could achieve some economic effects and environmental effects.
