The paper discusses a load simulator for boosters. The load simulator use a passive electro--hydraulic servo system. In the paper,the structure of the simulator was designed, the mathematical model of the system was established, and the designed a controller which based on feed forward compensation. Finally, the system has been successfully applied to load simulation, all its performance meets the requirements.
