The paper reviewed the influence of the constitution of W/O/W multiple emulsions including emulsifier,water phase,and oil phase,on its stability.Applications of multiple emulsions in cosmetics,including the package,slow release,and isolation for the active ingredient are introduced.The research orientation of applications of multiple emulsions to cosmetics was also pointed out.
