采用直接观察和显微测量技术，对来自不同地区的台湾乳白蚁（Coptotermes formosanus）9个种群中的兵蚁形态进行了研究，并对9个种群兵蚁mtDNA上的C01基因部分序列进行了分析．结果表明，台湾乳白蚁兵蚁的量值范围大于目前相关资料中记载的范围，首次发现了台湾乳白蚁兵蚁存在圆形头和长卵形头两种兵蚁，台湾乳白蚁兵蚁的囟孔形状有近圆形、扁圆形和近三角形等多种，变异较大；同时发现其种群问遗传差异小于0．2％，佐证了形态学研究结果．

The soldiers of 9 isolates of Coptotermes formosanus from different areas was compared based on morphological characteristic and COI gene sequence. The results showed that the measurement range of C. formosanus soldiers was wider than that of previously reported data, there were 2 type of soldiers (the circinal head soldier and long elliptical head soldier) in some C. formosanus isolates. The fontanelle style of C. formosanus soldiers varied from subcircular or subtriangular style. The partial COl gene sequence partial of the 9 isolates was analyzed genetically, and the genetic difference was no more than 0. 2%. The morphological results were verified by the genetic relationship among the 9 isolates.
