This thesis introduces a home security detection and alarm system based on micro- controller and describes in detail the composition, structure, hardware design and software design. In this system, a variety of sensors are chosen to collect household information, A/ D conversion module is used to process the acquired signals, microcontroller is taken as the main controller, alarm circuit is used to achieve security alarm by sending a short message to prompt households through GSM SMS, so as to achieve the monitoring of home security. This system is not only simple in structure, but also easy to install, adjust and use.
