使用现代谱估计技术估计出平滑的调制信号功率谱,从信号的功率谱和信号平方的功率谱中提取出谱峰个数和谱峰的峰态量两个特征参数.在不需要先验知识的情况下,可对常用的MPSK和MFSK信号进行自动识别.仿真结果表明,两个新特征值在信噪比较低时(-2 dB)仍然能有较高的识别率.

A novel modulation recognition method based on modem spectral estimation is proposed. The number and kurtosis of spectral peaks are extracted from signal power spectrum and the power spectrum of second power of signal. These two features are ro- bust and easily obtained. The proposed method can recognize MPSK and MFSK signals without any prior knowledge. Simulation results show that this method can achieve high recognition accuracy when SNR is above and equal to- 2dB.
