Taking waterfront of Baima river in Fuzhou as the research object, for the recreational function of the water- front of Baimariver, a qucstionnarc survery was conducted among the rccreationists, based on the recreationists' evalua- tion on the recreational functional elements of the waterfront of Baima river and their recreation behavioral preferences, and the corresponding strategy on the upgrade of recreational function was put forward.
