石英质玉石中呈树枝状分布的黑色或者黑褐色物质俗称为“水草花”,其形态千变万化,具有一定的商业价值,然而目前对其物质组成及形成机理研究甚少。本次研究以云南省龙陵县出产的黄色石英质玉石中的“水草花”为研究对象,采用高倍率显微镜、X射线荧光能谱仪、拉曼光谱仪和显微红外光谱仪等测试手段对样品进行了微区观察和分析。研究结果显示,石英质玉石中呈树枝状分布的“水草花”的物质组成为软锰矿、针铁矿和有机物,树枝状的形态是由外界环境中铁锰质物质以及有机物充填玉石中的微裂隙而形成的。

The dendrite pattern ("Shuicaohua") in yellow quartzite jade is of great commercial value due to its beauty and variety. However, so far, limited information on its mineral composition and the possible formation mechanism of the dendrite pattern has been published. In this paper, yellow quartzite jade with typical dendrite pattern collected from Longling, Yunnan Province was studied with optical microscopic techniques, X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, Raman scattering spectrometer and micro-FTIR techniques and it's found that the dendrite is composed predominantly of pyrolusite, goethite and organic materials. And the formation of dendrite should attribute to the crystallization processes of the fracture filled with the Mn, Fe minerals and organics. This study also can help us understand the geochemical environment of the quartzite jade.
