数控机床,不但对机床提出更高的要求,更对程序的灵活性提出了更高的要求.变数(Varia—hie)的应用适应于这种要求,对于程序的标准化和程序的可读性以及减少失误方面起到很大作用,同时使程序的编制和调试的时间大大减小,提高了劳动生产率.

NC machine tools have been widely used. The parts processed are becoming more varied, complicated, and therefore, more demanding y especially in terms of the programs' flex- ibility. The variables can meet the higher demands. They are of great significance for the programs' standardization, readability and error reduction. They are also time -saving in programming and debugging and. therefore, efficient.
