大力发展地方应用型本科专业人才是我国经济快速发展和高等教育大众化的必然结果。地方应用型本科教育不同于高职类应用型人才的培养。它是培养本科层次的既具有一定的理论基础知识又具有很强的实践能力的应用型人才。它与教学型、教研型、研究型大学关于教育人才培养的专业方向确定、教学模式、师资要求及就业模式等方面存在着很大的差异。因此，地方应用型本科院校应根据自身的特色，以市场发展为导向、社会需求为动力、实践基地为依托构建人才培养模式，实现自身的发展建设。

It is inevitable that China's rapid economic development and mass higher education lead to the cultivation of local application-oriented undergraduate professionals. Different from higher vocational education, application-oriented undergraduate education is to train undergraduate level application-oriented students with both some basic knowledge and strong practical ability.
