Curriculum for undergraduate students in Electrical Engineering and Science at Massachusetts Institutes of Technology(MIT) are introduced in this paper.In the aspects of ability cultivation,basic subjects teaching and experimental requirement,the characteristics of the cultivation pattern for undergraduate students in MIT are concluded.The analysis shows that MIT pays much attention to broaden student′s educational foundation,enhance teaching quality and ability cultivation.The laboratory subjects are constructed nicely to improve student′s practical ability.These characteristics offer some suggestions for Chinese higher education to enhance our undergraduate cultivation in the related major.
