The development tendency of graded cemented carbides was reviewed.The microstructure,performance and formation mechanism of the graded cemented carbides were analyzed.The fcc–rich graded cemented carbides were investigated.It was further pointed out that the fcc–rich graded cemented carbides will become the latest development for its special structure and excellent performance.
