The paper discusses the importance of fuel delivery advance angle to dynamic property, economy and exhaust performance. It utilizes external characteristic test, load characteristic test and speed stability test to investigate the effect of fuel delivery advance angle on engine condition. The results show that the effect of fuel delivery advance angle on dynamic property is bigger; The biggest difference between power and torque are 7.6% and 7.5% respectively; The biggest oil consumption rate is 6.6%. Out of them, when the angle is 26° , the running is formal, the power, torque are the highest and the oil consumption is lowest, which is the optimum fuel delivery advance angle.
