Based on the thin coal seam resource and reserve in China, the development trend of very thin coal seam electrical haulage shearer is analyzed. Through the application of medium voltage frequency converter, high reliable controller and field bus technology, the intelligent and modular electrical control system of electrical haulage shearer for very thin coal seam is realized. In this way, the automated mining can be realized gradually.
